The Melbourne Municipal Band (MMB) will “Let Freedom Ring” with two patriotic-themed concerts on November 6 and 7, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd. There is no charge and tickets are not required. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

“This concert will celebrate our veterans and their contributions to our country,” said Conductor Staci Rosbury. “The program will include Black Granite March, by James Hosay, which celebrates the courage and honor of those who fought in Vietnam. We’ll also play a moving rendition of Shenandoah, and Summon the Heroes, among other selections.”

Pre-show entertainment will be provided by Jessa’s Little Brass Band, featuring two trumpets, a French horn, trombone and tuba playing marches and other arrangements.
